The Gubi Games Studio is a two-person indie game studio founded by Polish friends Nina Envvu Wójcik and Aleks Aleksaer Ch.We both completed our Bachelor’s degrees in Video Games and Virtual Reality at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. Together, we focus on creating video games that deliver meaningful messages to the world, combined with thrilling, unhinged stories, multiple branching choices, and unforgettable characters.
Nina Envvu Wójcik
is the creative director of Misdamnation, an illustrator, scriptwriter, and story co-creator. She also handles the studio's business management.Her passion for psychological horror as a genre is matched only by her disdain for jumpscares. She also has a soft spot for more wholesome stories.Beyond publishing her own game, Nina’s dream is to inspire more women in indie game development to bring their ideas to life. On a more down-to-earth note, she would love to have a dog - or two - in the future!
Aleks Aleksaer Ch.
is the technical director of Misdamnation, responsible for programming and ensuring every wild mechanic works seamlessly.He also creates all animations, from sprites to promotional content, and co-creates the game’s story. The team’s biggest horror enthusiast and probably the funniest person in the world.Aleks is never far from his beloved cat, Olivia.
